Kath shuts up Vicki when she starts to brag about how much money they will make at the casino. Mick leaves Marty to steer the boat and Alice tries to get him to let her have a go. Joan catches Roach below decks with Rick and tells him to consult her before he assigns the women any work. He replies that while they are at sea, he is in charge, not her. Nancy catches a fish and asks Rita to distract Delia while she throws the line over again. Rita is happy to oblige, and pushes Delia overboard ){kind=small} (though with a life preserver after her). Nancy reports the incident to Marty, who dives in after Delia to rescue her, leaving Alice to steer the ship. The ship's engines suddenly stop and Mick goes below to investigate. Marty and Delia manage to swim ashore ){kind=small} . When Vicki fixes the roulette wheel, Lexie gets suspicious at the number of times the zero is coming up and demands that Merle is put back in charge. Kath excuses herself to prepare for a cell search. Mick reports to Joan that he will need a few hours to fix the engine and he cannot drop anchor, so the boat will drift further out to sea. Nancy accuses Rita of breaking the radio and sabotgaing the engine. Lexie accuses Vicki of cheating at cards by dealing from the bottom, so Kath sets Merle on her. Rodney distracts the prisoner on look-out, catches the women gambling and locks them in the rec room in case there is any money in their cells. Marty phones Ann to report the incident on the boat. Ann orders a cell search when she sees the roulette wheel and money is found in the panda the women gave Lexie. Joan notices Rita is missing and goes up on deck to look for her: Nancy arrives in time to prevent Rita using a hammer on Joan ){kind=small} . Ann tells Lorelei and Rita they will both lose buyup and that Lexie will spend the rest of her pregnancy in isolation, but reconsiders after tearful pleas from both of them. Kath offers Rodney a more longterm "arrangement" to swap information. Rita and the others get drunk below decks. Lexie demands her money back from Kath and threatens to tell Rita what has been going on. The women are told that Rita and the others won't be back that night. Nancy cooks up the fish she caught with a tin of sweetcorn. When Mick fires up another flare, Rita eyes the flare gun remarking it could cause a bit of damage. Rodney tells Kath he doesn't want money or information from her, but Merle's return prevents him saying exactly what he does want. Kath obviously gets the message anyway. Alice is taken up on deck to cure her seasickness. Delia thanks Marty for jumping in the sea after her. Roach goes to sleep in the wheelhouse despite Joan's threat that she'll get a month in solitary if she does. Lexie feels her baby kicking for the first time. Joan stays awake all night watching for any potential attack from Rita: Rita stays awake too. Mick sights land and brings the others on deck to look, but tells Roach privately that the boat had drifted further than he thought and it isn't the mainland they can see.
