  • Joan asks to sit in on Ann's interview when she finds she's about to talk to Janet. Janet is sent to solitary and almost implicates Joan by looking accusingly at her when she hears about how her sister got caught. Ann tells Delia she is going to college to check out her story so Rodney's version of events doesn't go unchallenged. Joan warns Janet to clear out her cell in case there's a search. Merle is upset to be still locked in solitary and starts shouting when she hears Joan locking Janet into one of the cells. Marty tries to get Alice to lag on Rodney over the videotape, but he is put off by her amourousness. Rita tries to warn Roach about the forthcoming cell search: the whole elaborate plan with Rodney was precisely to bring this about it seems. Joan phones Parker to tell him the recent events in Wentworth, but he tells her he already knows and that Morgan is even now "seeing to" Andrew: sure enough, Andrew is the victim of a hit and run accident outside his apartment as he returns from a shopping trip . Joan warns Kath to hide the cocaine, but she is more concerned about failing Merle and refuses to help Joan in future. Joan asks permission to go home: when she gets to Andrew's one of his neighbours tells Joan that Andrew is dead. Cocaine is found in Kath's cupboard by Marty during the cell search. Ann warns Rita there must be no more trouble or all the women will lose buyup for a week. Joan phones the police and tells Inspector Grace the whole story: she accepts his offer to help to set up Parker. Kath is questioned by Ann about the cocaine in her cell and becomes hysterical . Grace phones his Superintendant who refuses to sanction his plan. Ann refuses to transfer Kath and asks Sister Hall to transcribe her wandering remarks. Joan agrees to continue with the plan to set up Parker without any backup. Parker phones Joan to trade threats, each vowing to kill the other. Ann and Meg are suspicious of Joan's reasons for wanting to transfer Merle to H block, and their suspicions are confirmed by Sister Hall's report that Kath's ramblings often link Merle's and Joan's names. Joan returns to work. Ann gives Rodney one last chance to change his story, but it turns out that the officer at the training school is unable to confirm Ann's suspicions about Rodney. Joan lets herself into the armoury and selects a gun to take home with her . Rita makes it up with Roach. Lorelei gives karate lessons. Ann tells Delia and Rodney the matter is closed and orders Meg to release Merle before lockup. Roach is welcomed back to the Warriors and Lorelei is invited to join as well. Nancy sticks a caricature captioned "OFFICER JERK" on Rodney's back to pay him back for his arrogance in telling the women they can't touch him any more over the matter of the uniform. Joan waits in the dark at Andrew's with the gun and nearly shoots Andrew's daughter when she lets herself into his flat. Meg spots the caricature on Rodeny's back, but warns him not to take any action over it. Ignoring her, he goes straight to threaten Rita, but she just laughs at him. Merle is taken back to her cell, but is frightened without Kath. Joan is threatened in bed by an intruder to go along with the plan or Andrew's daughter will die.

When Lexie does a flashy underarm shot at the biliard table, the ball surpisingly goes straight into the pocket right next to her. For the rest of the scene both her and Rita seem to be supressing a fit of the giggles .
