When she finds out that Joan isn't married, she tells her not to worry, she obviously hasn't met the right man yet. Lizzie meets Pixie's and is shown her album of wedding photos: Pixie realises she may actually have six husbands and the police think there's only four. When Meg brings Laura her medication, she at last gets her to admit that where Meg has seen her before, but after Meg has gone she takes the pill out of her mouth and hides it with the others she has been saving. Laura takes all the pills she's been saving at once. Ann's son Paul helps Wally move in and tells Judy of his ambition to be a photographer. Ann tells Meg they should notify the police of Brandy's other name. Laura finds the pills aren't having any effect, so she slashes her wrists with a broken bottle . Pixie entertains the women with her illogical ideas on marriage, divorce and immorality. Lizzie goes looking for Brandy to get drink and finds her unconscious. As Laura is taken away to hospital, she mutters about being murdered. Colleen points out that this isn't really consistent with the blood in the wash basin. Joan tells Pixie off for wandering around the prison and orders her out of the laundry if she isn't going to work. Pixie promptly volunteers for work. James comes to visit Pixie: he wants to know the truth, and particularly if they were ever married. He promises to wait for her until she is released, but she tells him to leave or he'll make her cry. No-one will admit to knowing where the brandy bottle came from. Pixie says she had an illegitimate child at the age of 16. By talking about what will probably happen to Laura, the women give Pixie the idea of making a plea of temporary insanity. David tells Roxanne he can't raise any more money but says he will show the police the loan contract to make them unfreeze her bank account. Paul visits Wentworth and takes photos of the women without asking permission: Bea stops him angrily. Roxanne is upset at Bea's constant sniping at her for her mercenary motives, so Maxine lets Bea know the effect her remarks are having. Wally suggests that Paul could take some photos in to brighten up the women's cells and get back in their good books. Pixie sees her solicitor: she finds out she will still have to face the bigamy charges and two charges of fraud, and is blankly told she has no chance of getting an acquittal. She later stages a faint in the laundry in front of Joan, and pretends to be Joan of Arc when she wakes: Colleen warns her not to play with fire. Paul shows Ann a photo in the newspaper of Lionel Fellows and shows her another photo he's taken of the same man being handed an envelope by another man. Ann identifies the second man as Ted Douglas .
