Meg ~ Elspeth Ballantyne Joan ~ Maggie Kirkpatrick Ann ~ Gerda Nicolson Joyce ~ Joy Westmore Nora ~ Sonja Tallis May ~ Billie Hammerberg Willie ~ Kirsty Child Daphne ~ Debra Lawrance Lexie ~ Pepe Trevor Lou ~ Louise Siversen Julie ~ Jackie Woodburne Jenny ~ Jenny Lovell Ben ~ Kevin Summers Pippa ~ Christine Harris Mervin ~ Ernie Bourne Queenie ~ Marilyn Rodgers Nikki ~ Vicki Mathios Cindy ~ Robyn Frank Tiny Clayton ~ Simon Clews Pat Slattery ~ Dorothy Cutts Police Constable ~ Justin Gaffney Truck Driver ~ Ric Hurst Cheeky Kid ~ Andrew Zenz | Nikki is a bit disturbed to hear that she will have to shoot a few guards, especially after May refers to (fictitious) "Sally" who was selected before her and came to a nasty end. Ben tells Daphne he's continuing with her case and fails to notice that his flattery is having a strange effect on her. Meg interrupts as Lou threatens Nikki in the shower block. Pat reports to Ann that the emergency food truck has been involved in an accident: Ann decides to go to see for herself and possibly salvage some of it. Nora and the conspirators tell Nikki she has to meet Queenie and stress how "big" she is. The van driver refuses to let Ann remove any of the undamaged goods, but later is seen bringing back some of it to Wentworth with Pat Slattery. Lexie overhears the "escape" plot and passes it on to Lou. Daphne asks May's advice about what it's like being in love and May tells her about her long affair with a man called Clifford, who gambled away the proceeds of her cat burgling. Ann phones the Minister to make him expose Chaucer and Bullock. Nikki waits all night for Queenie to turn up, but it is next morning until Queenie and two of her "thugs" roll up in a car to give her another appointment to meet later for further instructions. Pat Slattery shows Ann the morning papers with the headline "MINISTER EXPOSES PRISON RIP-OFF", but she is disappointed that Chaucer is not named. Joan tries to claim credit for the exposure of Chaucer for the Union, but Ann reminds her the crucial factor was Julie discovering more invoices. Nikki is found asleep in a cell when she's supposed to be on skip duty. Jenny realises Daphne is in love with Ben and tells the other women that she knows that Ben is seeing Pippa. Joan clashes with Pippa over her use of the staff room to prepare for her classes. Lou and Lexie bash Nikki to try to find out about the escape. Ann warns Pippa not to antagonise Joan, and mentions that she's had a letter from Paul saying he's taking a photographic course in Paris. Daphne asks Pippa to design her a wedding dress as she's marrying Ben. Pippa takes this badly so Jenny has to explain to Daphne that she must have misunderstood what Ben said and he isn't in love with her. Nikki pleads with Willie to help her: she wants to back out of the escape plot. Ann refers to "big brother" Paul, implying he is older than Pippa. No mention of him being in a wheelchair any more, so possibly he isn't.
