Meg gives Lizzie the news that Sid has had a stroke, and promises to ask permission for her to visit him in hospital. Sandra says she's willing to pay the women for information, but only if it's what she thinks her editor will want. Three new prisoners are brought to Wentworth: when the van door is opened, one of them, Jenny Armstrong, has been given a bloody nose by one of the others, Georgie Baxter. Jenny is in prison for not paying a parking fine. Georgie is manhandled shrieking into reception and after wiping the fingerprint ink all over Jim's face , she is sent straight to solitary . When she is left alone there, she tears up the uniform she is supposed to put on. Meg introduces the third new inmate, Evelyn Randall, to the women in the rec room. Sandra complains the stuff the women are telling her is too boring to print. Evelyn announces that she's a herbalist and antagonizes Bea by calling her ignorant after Bea scoffs at her "profession". Sandra agrees to listen to Evelyn's story if she'll snoop around for gossip about Judy and Doreen. Lizzie talks to Jenny in sickbay and finds she was arrested when she got back from Asia for not paying a fine before she left. Bea says she is going to frame Sandra to have her put in solitary out of everyone's way. Lizzie visits Sid in hospital. Evelyn warns Sandra that she's liable to end up in solitary, but Sandra isn't too bothered and thinks she might get a story on Georgie that way. Bea realises why Evelyn is sticking up for Sandra and warns her not to interfere. Sandra gives Doreen tips on how to attract a man. Erica wants Georgie kept in solitary until she learns how to behave. Doreen is seen by Erica after Miss Vaughan's report, but Doreen rejects the offer of counselling. She tells Erica she won't make the same mistakes in any future relationship. Evelyn is affronted by David's suggestion that she attends his classes and tells him that not only is she highly qualified already but she'll be out after her appeal is heard. Doreen tries to make herself look pretty and goes to David's class. Sandra tells her to ask for a hard assignment to impress David and promises to help her with it. Bea watches as Sandra passes the sheet to Doreen and it turns out to be full of mistakes. Doreen asks Evelyn for a remedy for an upset stomach and Evelyn says she could make one just using the plants in the prison garden, but only if Doreen keeps it secret from Bea. Meg tells Doreen it's time she grew up and forgot David. Evelyn gives Doreen a beaker of green liquid to drink. The physiotherapist tells Lizzie that Sid needs to take a more positive attitude if he's going to recover, so she gives him a stiff talking to. Bea takes a file from David's desk in order to plant it in Sandra's cell. It turns out to be Evelyn's file, so of course she and Judy read it first. An official from the Health Department arrives at Wentworth trying to trace Jenny Armstrong because a woman on the same flight has come down with a dangerous infectious disease, possibly typhoid. When the search for the missing file locates in under Sandra's bed, Bea tells Erica that Sandra is a reporter. Erica adopts Meg's suggestion that Sandra is confined to isolation for the rest of her stay in Wentworth. Doreen is running a temperature and confesses to Bea and Judy that she's taken some of Evelyn's medicine. Bea tells her that Evelyn is in prison for manslaughter after poisoning one of her patients.
