It's amazing how huge Bobbie's Walkman seems now .

Arthur tells Lizzie his surname Charlton comes from his adoptive parents and he traced her through the Salvation Army. Minnie Donovan and Bobbie Mitchell are brought to Wentworth on remand, bickering and arguing because Bobbie isn't showing Minnie the respect she thinks she deserves. Joyce Barry also gets "tough" with Bobbie for being cheeky. Minnie recognises Ann's name and realises she knew her when she was with child welfare. Bobbie's attitude makes Minnie try once again to get her to "behave". The women at the halfway house appeal to Wally to overrule Alice when she decides that the TV will have to be switched off at 10 o'clock. Ann chats to Minnie about when she used to look after runaway kids, but makes clear her disappointment that Minnie took the opportunity to run her charges as a shop-lifting gang. Minnie gets to know the other women and makes Bobbie give back a cigarette she takes from Lizzie. Alice refuses to let Jilly come back to Driscoll when she turns up (sober this time) wanting somewhere to stay. Meg reminds Marty that she lost his father when Marty gets drunk and starts moaning about "losing" Jenni. Minnie confiscates Bobbie's stereo to teach her a lesson and they end up slapping each other. Paul tells Ann he's given up his job to become a professional photographer after his success in selling a photograph to a newspaper. Bobbie tells her story to Minnie: her mother and father neglected her and she started as a prostitute at the age of thirteen. After a night spent in the visitors' suite, Petra and Scott return. Meg confiscates her engagement ring, but not her wedding ring. Joan warns Sonia that despite appearances, Minnie could be dangerous. Sonia tells Minnie to keep out of her way and sarcastically suggests she should knit herself a little old man to keep her company. As an extra security measure, Sonia recruits Bobbie to tape Minnie's conversations with her Walkman, arguing that as Minnie's a friend of the Governor she might say something useful. Arthur visits Lizzie and tells her about his wife and three children, but in a way this saddens Lizzie rather than make her happy, as she knows she won't be able to see them. Wally tells Judy he's giving up working at the halfway house, so Judy goes to Ann to ask her what's going on. Ann tells Judy the Department want to buy Driscoll, but she refuses to sell. Cass reluctantly agrees to help Lizzie with her plan to fix Sonia and Joan. The women at Driscoll are up in arms when Alice refuses to stand bail for Jilly, who has been picked up for breaking and entering. Minnie defends Bobbie from Joan, and Joan backs off but Minnie gets no thanks for it from Bobbie. Lizzie sends Phyllis to the shower block on the pretext of a meeting with Joan, but plans to have her met by Cass for a bashing. Arthur Charlton from the Department defends Alice's conduct and refuses to consider Wally's report. Phyllis meets Joan before she gets to the shower block, and they arrive and trap Cass together. Cass is held by a few of Phyllis's cronies while Joan pulls on the black leather gloves and punches her in the stomach.
