Meg ~ Elspeth Ballantyne Judy ~ Betty Bobbitt Lizzie ~ Sheila Florance Joan ~ Maggie Kirkpatrick Colleen ~ Judith McGrath Ann ~ Gerda Nicolson Wally ~ Alan Hopgood Pixie ~ Judy McBurney Sonia ~ Tina Bursill Cass ~ Babs McMillan Minnie ~ Wendy Playfair Bobbie ~ Maxine Klibingaitis Scott ~ Tim Elston Brenda ~ Carmen Warrington David ~ David Waters Paul Reynolds ~ Paul Newman Samantha ~ Dina Mann Phyllis ~ Reylene Pearce Randi ~ Zoe Bertram Frances ~ Wanda Davidson Jack Brennan ~ Ian McKleish Lionel Fellowes ~ Will Deumer Ray Foster ~ Thomas Coltrane Don Baxter ~ Alan Lee Det. Insp. Thorne ~ Peter Aanensen Dr Fredericks ~ Curt Jansen Mr Walsh ~ Raymond Rich Nurse ~ Nicki Duncan Apart from the mistake over the actress playing Samantha, these credits are full of inconsistencies: "Francis"; Lionel "Fellows" played by Will "Duemer"; Det. Insp "Thorn" played by Peter "Aanenson". I suspect that Ian "McKleish" is also a misspelling. | Pixie feels sick and David helps her to the toilet, where they find Joan: he holds her up to take the weight off the rope and tells Pixie to use the knife in his top pocket (!) to cut her down. Brenda is furious to find that Joan may have been killed, and a major source of income cut off. Minnie organises an alibi for the women by hustling them off to the rec room. Samantha impresses Ann and Paul with her individual approach to the law. Ann is called to the prison and the women start to concoct their alibis for her. Colleen confirms that the sheets came from Mary's cell and that she is missing. Ann tells the women that Joan is still alive, which makes one or two of them look a little nervous. Lizzie suspects that David helped Mary to escape after she notices that David pretends not to even know who Mary was. Sam asks Wally leading questions to find out if he's committed to Ann. David finds a hole in the fence, but Colleen cannot remember seeing Mary during the exercise period. Jack tells Brenda that Don is double-crossing Fellowes and needs the money to get away. Lionel Fellowes is one step ahead, and tells Ray to dispose of Don. Joan discharges herself from hospital against medical advice, saying she has "things to do". Minnie runs rings round Det. Insp. Thorne and manages to avoid giving him any useful information. Randi pretends to apologise to Meg in order to slip something into her pocket: Pixie sees the incident, bumps into Meg and lifts it from her pocket. Randi asks to see Ann about a receipt for a diamond necklace which she claims to have given to Meg before dinner. Meg denies it and to settle the matter Ann allows Randi to search Meg's pockets. Meg demands to be given a locker search and body search for her own protection. Joan takes out a high interest cash loan from a finance house. David tells Pixie he's given her an alibi so she doesn't need to be interviewed by the police about the attack on Joan. Meg explains to Ann about Randi and Marty and tells her she thinks this is why Randi is trying to set her up. Ann is told that Judy has been sentenced to 5 years. David offers to help "free" Sonia when she tries to sound him out to see whether he would be willing to smuggle goods inside. Lizzie fakes a heart attack in Minnie's pickpocketing class and empties Cass and Pixie's pockets. The things in Pixie's pocket include Randi's necklace. Randi tries to claim the necklace back, but Minnie allows Pixie to keep it. Pixie is knocked out in her cell and the necklace taken: Meg finds her when she accompanies Judy back to her cell. Ann notices a lump in her breast. The women realise Tracy Dixon has gone missing. Joan goes to pay off the blackmailer, but finds him dead.
