Ann prevents Meg rushing off to find Marty by telling her she's expecting to hear from Dan at any minute. Lexie points out to Rita that Kath no longer has any hold over her, so what is she planning to do about deposing Kath. Merle moves the parcel to Rita's locker, in the process upsetting Nancy with a badly timed imitation ("BIFF! POW!") of Captain Marvellous. The women find Meg in the rec room watching the news on TV. Vicki wins on the races: Rita flushes the radio down the toilet when she finds them in the shower block listening to it. Nancy becomes obsessive about cleaning the floor of her cell, and has apparently managed to move one of the lockers away from the wall unaided. She doesn't respond to Rita at first when she talks to her, but is eventually persuaded not to worry about the visit from Peter. Meg and Delia comiserate with each other in their worrying about Marty. Alice and Lexie search the grounds for a parcel without success. Merle unwraps the present, which is a male sex doll, and inflates it . Nancy confronts Peter but he blames Danielle for making up stories: she makes him admit he is beating his wife and insists he seeks help. Meg is asked to identify some personal effects found in the fire area: Delia offers to go with her. Kath is put under pressure to pay up, but she says her contact hasn't been able to give her the winnings yet. Lorelei proposes a sweep to help select a name for Lexie's baby. Meg talks to the last woman to see Marty: he went back into a burning house to save a dog. The women watch Meg reduced to tears by a TV reporter until she is rescued by Dan. Kath tells Rodney he must bring in the money immediately: he hands some of it over. She also asks him to investigate Spider Simpson from C block, who Vicki thinks would be able to provide a new radio. Danielle does not come to see Nancy as Peter promised, and Nancy asks Ann to contact her. Kath buys a radio from Spider and offers her a partnership. Kath is annoyed that Spider knew about her partnership with Rodney and accuses Vicki of talking. Meg blames herself for making Marty feel guilty about his fear. Merle brings the dressed up sex doll to show him the rec room and the kitchen. Nancy has no success convincing Danielle that she is not to blame for what Peter is doing to her. Marty is discovered safe with the dog he saved . Rita has to tell Merle the doll was for Sister Hall for first aid training and give it mouth to mouth to persuade her to give it up. Kath pays a woman from C block to bash Spider. Danielle gets no help from the police when she goes to report him, so she accuses Peter of killing his father and letting his mother take the blame for it.
